Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and service-oriented Maintenance Supervisor (HVAC/CPO Cert) to lead our maintenance operations and help ensure our community remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained for residents and guests.What You'll Be DoingAs our Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee the maintenance operations of the community while leading and supporting the maintenance team to ensure exceptional service and property upkeep. Key responsibilities include:Leading, scheduling, training, and supporting maintenance team members while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and customer serviceCoordinating and prioritizing service requests, preventive maintenance programs, and repair activities to ensure timely completion and resident satisfactionOverseeing apartment make-ready operations and ensuring vacant homes are prepared for occupancy according to company standardsPerforming and supervising maintenance repairs involving HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building systemsConducting inspections of apartment homes, common areas, building systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and ensure quality standards are maintainedCoordinating with vendors, contractors, and community management to support property operations and capital improvement projectsMaintaining accurate maintenance records, inventory, work orders, and required documentationSupporting community appearance through oversight of grounds, exterior areas, and property maintenance activitiesResponding to emergency maintenance situations and participating in the on-call rotation as requiredEnsuring compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and all applicable safety regulationsPromoting a positive, safe, and welcoming community environmentPerforming other duties as assignedWho You AreWe're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with leadership skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have:High school diploma, GED, or vocational training requiredThree or more years of building, facilities, apartment, or property maintenance experience required, including previous supervisory or leadership experience preferredStrong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance practicesHVAC certification and/or trade certifications in electrical, plumbing, or related fields requiredAbility to read diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, and safety documentationStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficientlyExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong leadership and team development skillsCustomer service mindset with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, contractors, and team membersBasic computer proficiency, including experience with work order systems, property management software, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel preferredAbility to work on-call, respond to emergencies, and work flexible schedules as neededValid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation requiredWhy You'll Love Working With UsWe believe in taking care of our team just as much as our residents.
