Physician - Cardiac Electrophysiology (WHL)

Position Overview West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Cardiology seeks fellowship-trained Cardiac Electrophysiologists (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) to join our rapidly growing academic, state‑of‑the‑art employed faculty. The successful candidate will practice at primary sites in Wheeling, WV, and the Morgantown, WV campus. This position is structured as a 50/50 split between Wheeling and Morgantown, ensuring integration with the academic medical center while maintaining a strong presence in the Wheeling community. The selected physician will participate in a rotation with current electrophysiologists in Morgantown to maintain this balance. Duties Provide exceptional patient care in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. Actively participate in the teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for a state medical license. ABIM Electrophysiology Board Certification or eligibility required.
