IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS)

Job Description
You will provide technical reviews of design specifications for shipboard computer networks and systems aboard MSC ships.
You will provide customer service support to resolve deployment, maintenance and sustainment problems with shipboard IT systems.
You will review shipboard inventories to identify equipment for reutilization, relocation, and/or return to vendor or salvage.
You will manage multiple projects designed to support the PM8 mission.
You will coordinate innovative, unusual and/or routine shipboard IT system installation, maintenance and sustainment activities.
You will provide direct oversight of shipboard IT systems ensuring system compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, standards and procedures.
You will direct oversight and support to MSC ships is required and ranges from minor repairs to major overhauls requiring extended industrial assistance.
You will research, develop, evaluate effectiveness and technical adequacy of work items and proposals for resolving complicated and critical IT problems.
You will support cyber security and compliance reviews during shipboard network inspections.
You will develop and implement processes and procedures to improve reliability and supportability of IT systems and equipment.
