What To Expect The Tesla Robotics Team designs and builds humanoid bi‑pedal robots (Optimus) to perform tasks that are boring, repetitive, and dangerous for humans. As a Mechanical Product Design Engineer for the Tesla-Bot program you will be responsible for developing the electrical architecture of the humanoid robot. You will own the ground‑up design for harnesses, connectors, and novel dynamic electromechanical devices. Your primary goal will be to develop a highly integrated product by contributing to the electrical architecture decisions, consolidating endpoints, and exploring new ways to transfer power and comms from point to point. This is a fast‑paced, mission‑critical role in which you will solve problems unique to the humanoid robotics field.
