TITLE: Project Director
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, Exempt Employee
Career TEAM is looking to hire an Project Director who is responsible for overseeing an individual project, ensuring, and executing the project's overall strategic plan. In this role, the incumbent will practice working knowledge in Workforce Development protocols, which include a basic understanding of the field, core programs, and business plans. The Project Director is accountable for ensuring quality and integrity across all workforce functions.
Serves as primary local contact and contract liaison funding source
Ensure compliance with contract requirements including, the adherence to policies and procedures and program monitoring
Focus on expenditure rates ensuring everything is on track without disallowed costs, driving metrics and performance, providing support, coaching front-line staff, and creating service delivery plans for projects
Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate weekly tracking of key contract data elements
Coordinate the planning and implementation of policies and procedures for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
Serve as the primary local contact and contract liaison for the funding source
Maintain timely responsiveness to the funder and ensure clear, consistent communication across all project channels
Responsible for daily programmatic operations
Cultivate and maintain established community-based relationships while actively pursuing new partnerships to enhance program reach and services
Conduct regular coaching sessions and annual performance evaluations of the team
Other duties and projects as needed
The employee may be requested to perform other reasonable related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor and other management as required. Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years of experience in operational leadership and management
2+ years of experience with computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Mail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive
Strong emotional intelligence and ability to lead a team with different working styles
Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Master’s or MBA degree
Proven ability to provide strategic oversight of fiscal responsibility, ensuring accurate expenditure rates and achievement of performance metrics
In-depth knowledge of leading program compliance and maintaining quality integrity across all workforce development functions and contract requirements
