Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Operate long-haul dry van routes nationwide out of Bettendorf, IA for HMD Trucking. As an OTR solo CDL-A driver you'll haul assigned freight across regional and national lanes while supported by a driver-focused operations team.

Pay & miles: Starting at 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles; incentives for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and inspect DOT-compliant tractor-trailers on long-haul runs.
• Complete accurate logs, trip paperwork and pre/post-trip inspections.
• Protect cargo integrity and meet delivery schedules.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable driving experience.
• Compliance with DOT rules and a safe driving record.
