Because they are the first to meet our guests, they also have the first opportunity to provide them with impeccable service. As a Front Office Supervisor, you will lead and manage the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service. Your role is to oversee staff performance, resolve guest issues, and maintain the smooth and efficient operation of the front office to enhance guest satisfaction. Duties Supervise front desk operations, ensuring efficient check‑in/check‑out procedures and smooth guest service. Train, mentor, and monitor front office staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of customer service. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally. Support the coffee shop operations, ensuring high quality service. Assist in scheduling, monitoring staff performance, and providing feedback to ensure a productive and positive work environment. Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security measures. Manage the daily financial activities of the front office, including cash handling and reporting. Collaborate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to address guest needs and operational requirements. Serve as the point of contact for VIP guests, ensuring their stay is personalized and memorable. Assist with upselling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy and overall revenue. Perform quality checks on employees, employee tasks, and public spaces in the hotel. Complete all required Company training and compliance courses as assigned. Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures. Coordinate activities with other hotel departments to facilitate increased communication and guest satisfaction. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in a front desk or supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with professionalism. Proficiency in hotel management software and other relevant tools. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Proficient in time management, organizing, and managing multiple priorities. Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes. Recognizes an emergency and takes appropriate action. Able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Ability to use sound judgment and work independently, with minimal supervision. Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature with impending deadlines and/or established timeframes. Performs well with frequent interruptions/distractions. Ability to consistently demonstrate a “YES” attitude when performing duties with employees, guests, and management.
