They support the Director/Manager by assisting and coordinating various activities for the residents and assisting where needed.The Activity Aide provides exceptional interactions with each person they come into contact with throughout the day. They have a sincere passion for working with the senior population. They are vital to maintaining our commitment and responsibility to provide high quality care and an enjoyable day to day life to the residents of Hartsfield Village.Seeking individuals who are willing to go the extra mile to provide high quality care to those who need it most. Looking for someone who can maintain a professional and honest demeanor at all times and proudly represent the Community's concept of Senior Living.What You Will DoConducts activity programs in accordance with the planned monthly calendar and as assignedMay assist with clerical functions for the Recreation Department, such as maintaining and updating Monthly Calendar, Newsletter, Flyers, Birthday List, coordinate events, make announcements, data entry functions, assemble, copy, file, and process data required by the community in an accurate and timely mannerLeads musical, crafts, recreational exercises and other activities as assigned by the SupervisorEnsures safety and infection control procedures are followed in work performanceReports changes in resident condition, as appropriateReports any concerns regarding residents, family members, and staff to the DirectorAdvises Supervisor when assistance from nursing maintenance or other departments may be required to prepare for an activityReport any resident, family member concerns to the DirectorOther duties as assigned by SupervisorWho We AreHartsfield Village is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that celebrates the full continuum of life and promotes successful aging.
