Wound Care Consultant/Educator

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM - 04:00 PM)

We are seeking a Wound Care Consultant/Educator with substantial experience in wound care management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educating patients and staff on effective wound care practices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of wound care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with various wound types.
• Provide education and training to patients and healthcare staff on wound management and prevention.
• Utilize evidence-based practices in wound care to improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and recommend appropriate products.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in wound care or as a wound care consultant/educator.
• Must possess a valid PA or Compact License at the time of submission.
• WOCN certification is required (pending certification accepted).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
