This position will be expected to work within an agile framework and collaborate with Product, Architecture, Platform Engineering, Distribution Services, and other technical teams on targeted features and functions required to maintain Hilton's position as a leader in hospitality.• Develop and deliver back-end assets for mobile and web channels, including GraphQL schema and resolver development, business rules implementation, Couchbase data model and index changes, unit testing, bug fixes, build plans, and production support activities• Design, develop, and maintain GraphQL APIs using Apollo Server, NestJS, and TypeScript while ensuring scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and operational excellence• Collaborate with the Dev team, Platform Engineers, Distribution Services team, Platform Architecture team, and Product Leads on targeted features and functions, offering technical guidance to help define requirements and implement solutions that meet business objectives• Develop integrations with downstream enterprise services and clearly understand, document, and communicate service dependencies, impacts, and risks• Create, optimize, and troubleshoot Couchbase queries, indexes, views, and document structures to support application performance, reliability, and scalability requirements• Participate in solution design discussions, architecture reviews, API contract definition, and technical decision-making for complex initiatives• Provide support to team leads in the creation of diagrams, workflows, architecture documentation, and technical artifacts necessary to clearly convey the intended design for new and complex features• Establish strong partnerships within the IT organization to ensure cross-functional alignment and a clear understanding of feature requests, dependencies, and delivery commitments• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, defect resolution, and production support activities to ensure high availability and reliability of Hilton digital platforms• Contribute to CI/CD processes, automated testing, code reviews, deployment activities, and engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to improve productivity while maintaining high standards for code quality, security, maintainability, and performance• Review, validate, and optimize AI-generated code, tests, documentation, and technical artifacts to ensure adherence to enterprise engineering standards and business requirements• Help fill gaps throughout the development lifecycle to ensure delivery expectations are met while maintaining high quality standards• Lead and mentor team members on the technology stack, engineering practices, development processes, and operational support responsibilities to increase overall team effectiveness and velocity• Follow the defined agile methodology while delivering industry-leading web and mobile enabling solutions with best-in-class quality, reliability, scalability, and performance.About NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
