It also means tangible opportunities for your future through learning and advancement.As an Acute Care Occupational Therapist, you'll work one-on-one with hospitalized patients to bring them a sense of normalcy and independence through self-care management and Activities of Daily Living. You are comfortable communicating and educating patients, family members, and caregivers on how to best assist with daily routines. This role gives you the opportunity for interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure the best and most evidenced based practice for our patients.Your Responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist – Acute CareDeliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to previous level of functioning or proceed to next level of careEstablish timely treatment plans for each patient's specific needsDemonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team membersBuild and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)QualificationsGraduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy programState LicensureRegistered with NBCOTBasic Life Support Certification from the American Heart AssociationPay Range$50 - $60 / hourAny posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the positionCompany OverviewAt PT Solutions, we're more than colleagues; we're a tight-knit community united in our mission to expand access to quality care.
