Senior Project Controls Manager

Job Summary Join TYLin as a dynamic Senior Project Controls Manager for our Program Controls team in San Francisco, where you will lead the delivery of a Capital Improvement Program. You will provide Project/Program Management oversight and apply expertise in bid‑build, CM/GC, and progressive design‑build delivery methods. You will support large Capital Improvement Programs with technical support, building relationships with clients, project teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities Provide heavy Project/Program Management oversight with strong knowledge of design bid‑build, CM/GC, and progressive design‑build delivery methods. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project teams, key stakeholders, and colleagues while managing changing priorities. Manage project control activities and resources in engineering through all capital project lifecycle phases on client capital projects. Oversee cost estimating, budgeting, cost management and control, scheduling, configuration management, and management information system and reporting activities. Review, analyze, and interpret project design budgets, schedules, and costs to ensure conformance with authorized scope, time, and financial requirements. Review, analyze, and monitor actual project performance related to cost and schedule management activities. Participate in logistical, delivery, and workforce planning with project personnel. Attend project progress meetings and track work progress, budget, and schedule. Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages. Qualifications BS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field with 15+ years of project management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive experience with multiple project delivery methods, including progressive design‑build. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office programs. Strong conflict‑resolution skills, ability to manage tense situations and promote a harmonious work environment. Client‑focused with a commitment to innovation and ethical, sustainable practices. Pay and Benefits Best pay equity: base compensation range of $220,000 - $260,000 annually for this position and local market.
