Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and developmental conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and improve mobility
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care techniques
- Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in Oregon
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- New graduates welcome to apply; prior clinical experience in a hospital setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric therapy techniques
- Skill in developing and implementing treatment plans
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Ability to perform physical assessments and gait training
- Compassion and patience when working with patients and families
