Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice - $70K-85K per year

Job Overview Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice (After Hours) Location: North Huntingdon, PA Employment Type: Staff, Ongoing Hours: 40 per week (8‑hour shifts, after‑hours, on‑call) Eligible for a total bonus of $20,000, including a $10,000 first‑year success bonus and a $10,000 sign‑on bonus. Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Respond to after‑hours and on‑call patient needs by performing urgent assessments, managing symptoms and pain, and providing compassionate end‑of‑life support in real time. Support and guide patients and families during evenings, nights, weekends, and crisis situations, ensuring they feel informed, reassured, and cared for throughout the hospice journey. Apply strong clinical judgment and critical thinking to coordinate care needs, respond to changing patient conditions, and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation. Work independently, but never alone. Travel to patient homes within the assigned territory. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment. Minimum two years of RN experience, preferably in hospice. Current driver’s license and ability to spend approximately 20% of the day driving to/from patient locations. Valid drug‑screen clearance (medical and recreational marijuana).
