RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Required skills/certs/exp: Minimum years of experience: 2. Traveler experience: Unit will accept first-time travelers. Locals accepted/rate difference: Yes. Skills: Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, cardiac GTT exp. Must be comfortable with cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, amiodarone, Lasix, and heparin. Certs: ACLS, BCLS. Ratios: 1:5-6. Shift: Nights 18:45-07:15 *36 or 48 can be supported! Unit will accept contracts for 13 weeks. Float requirement: Yes, to other telemetry units. Weekend requirement: 4 weekend days in a 6-week time track. Patient diagnoses: They may get various types of patients requiring telemetry monitoring including chest pain, arrhythmias, pacemaker, or defibrillator. They work with a heart failure navigator. Unit systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR. Unit orientation: 36 hours of orientation. Scrubs: Not provided – Navy. Internal notes: Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.
