We are seeking an exceptional individual to step into a pivotal role within our client's dynamic design department. Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage and execute diverse graphic design projects across various media, including marketing collateral, digital content (website banners, social media assets, email designs), packaging graphics, retail point-of-sale (POS) materials, in-store signage, and brand identity elements.
• Apply a sophisticated and contemporary design aesthetic, ensuring all visuals are impactful, on-trend, and effectively communicate brand messages.
• Translate creative briefs and strategic objectives into high-quality visual designs, maintaining brand consistency and upholding design standards.
• Perform basic to advanced tasks such as photo manipulation, image retouching, custom illustration, and complex layout design as needed.
• Serve as a strong advocate for brand guidelines, ensuring all designs maintain visual consistency and align with established brand identity and messaging across all channels.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and translate them into cohesive and effective visual solutions.
• Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in the most frequently used design software within the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Skilled in applying both basic and advanced features within these applications for tasks such as complex photo editing, vector graphic creation, print-ready layouts, and digital asset optimization.
• Take ownership of assigned projects, managing your workload, timelines, and deliverables independently, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and to specification.
• Proactively communicate project status, potential challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and team members.
• Work effectively with internal teams (marketing, digital, product) and external partners (printers, vendors) to ensure smooth project execution and high-quality outcomes.
• Stay current with the latest graphic design trends, tools, techniques, and best practices, particularly within the beauty and retail industries.
• Actively seek opportunities for creative growth and skill development, contributing innovative ideas to enhance visual communications.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer in an agency, in-house creative department, or similar fast-paced creative environment.
• A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing a modern design aesthetic, excellent typographic skills, and high-quality execution across various print and digital mediums.
• Expert-level hands-on proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with comfort in utilizing both basic and advanced functionalities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong understanding of design principles and processes, layout, color theory, and typography.
• Strong understanding of print production processes, digital best practices, and cross-channel design considerations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly and collaboratively.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented with a passion for pixel-perfection, and a proactive problem-solver with a passion for creative excellence.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience in the beauty and/or retail sectors, particularly within haircare or e-commerce.
• Proficiency in Figma for digital asset creation and collaborative working.
• Experience in multimedia, motion/animation, or AI design tools.
