The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of nursing experience, particularly in Labor and Delivery. A California nursing license is required. Candidates should possess strong leadership skills and have experience in charge nurse roles. Ability to stay calm during obstetrical emergencies is essential. Familiarity with advanced skills such as external fetal monitoring, as well as ACLS certification, is preferred. The unit has a total of 16 beds, and staff will be required to follow patient ratios per established guidelines. Documentation will be conducted using specific nursing and order entry systems. We prioritize patient experience and require staff to address concerns proactively.
