Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Intermediate Care / Step-Down setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a general medical-surgical floor
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down unit setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in a PCU or Step-Down environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
