Physical Therapist - School Setting in North Richland Hills, TX

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students’ mobility and independence in an educational setting. This full-time role spans from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with work hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, servicing a diverse K-12 population. You’ll work onsite near North Richland Hills, TX, to provide essential physical therapy interventions for 35–50 students, adjusted to meet individualized intensity of services.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapist license in Texas through ECPTOTE
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Skilled at developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to students’ educational needs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and document students’ physical therapy needs
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans within the school environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Educate staff and families about student supports and strategies
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student care planning
