Qualifications:

• Current or pending Alabama Educator SLP Certificate (AL ASHA Certification also required)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience working with school-aged children
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 60 students, providing both therapy and evaluations
• Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students in an onsite setting
• Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and assessments, collaborating with educational teams and families
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Track progress, maintain accurate records, and document services according to school and special education requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a consistent and supportive approach for each student
