Job Description Join our Growing Neuroscience Critical Care team! Our Neuroscience ICU is looking to expand our PA team. Join our multidisciplinary team led by board certified neurointensivists which also includes two physician assistants and one acute care nurse practitioner. The PA role includes patient‑centered care and management, bedside procedures, quality improvement activities, education, and teaching. Our patient population includes a myriad of neurological disorders including stroke, intracranial hemorrhage, tumor, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebrovascular, neurodegenerative, neuromuscular and seizure disorders. The Neurosciences engage the most advanced technologies including tele robot medicine, continuous EEG monitoring, and capability for complex neuro interventional procedures as well as intracranial pressure and oxygen monitoring. Responsibilities Provide patient‑centered care and management in the Neuroscience ICU. Perform bedside procedures such as central lines, lumbar punctures, arterial lines. Participate in quality improvement activities. Offer education and teaching to multidisciplinary team members. Conduct stroke calls via telemedicine (four calls per month). Work four 10‑hour shifts, rotating days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Complete on‑job training course and maintain annual CME stipend. Work under 100% supervision of the MD; no in‑house shifts past midnight. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program. Current NCCPA certification or Board eligible, or current Arizona PA license (or eligible). Previous inpatient or neuro experience preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
