Currently, we are looking to add a Shipping Assistant I (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM SHIFT) to the team:

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Review pick tickets for accuracy, pull inventory, and pack shipments with efficiency and accuracy while complying with standard operation procedures
• Prepare international and domestic packages with appropriate labeling and documentation according to protocols
• Communicate with the customer service and inventory departments regarding orders
• Document accurate and detailed records and database entries
• Organize and maintain shipping paperwork for products
• Organize and maintain an adequate amount of shipping supplies
• Investigate, trace, and resolve problem shipment cases
• Ensure quality control levels when preparing and shipping packages

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: 1-2 years relevant work experience
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office
• Experience with carrier software is a plus (FedEx, DHL Easyship, UPS Worldship)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 60 pounds
• Availability to work on-site in Ann Arbor during normal business hours (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM SHIFT)
