Department Manager I

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, but it is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. If you are hired for this posting, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA. Pay: $18.00 per hour Availability: Full Time, Weekends, Holidays Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience at every visit. Assistant Managers lead Departments and may manage assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results. Specific manager duties include: Guest Service Department Manager: ensures crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, coordinates sales promotions, trains service staff, and organizes the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas for optimal service. Kitchen Department Manager: ensures the restaurant delivers high-quality food quickly, maintains food safety, controls food cost, and trains kitchen staff on production procedures and new menu items. People Department Manager: ensures the restaurant hires qualified crew, schedules them to meet sales and profit goals, welcomes new crew members, and recognizes and motivates staff throughout their tenure. Requirements Previous managerial experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred. Candidates must be 18 years or older and possess a positive, team‑player attitude, flexibility with a fast‑paced environment, and a passion for delivering excellent service.
