If you answered yes to any of these questions, then we have a unique opportunity for you. Responsibilities: We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our dynamic and exciting team. In this position you will work on-site at one or more hospital locations to screen newborns for hearing loss and perform mandated hearing screening tests for newborn infants. You will provide education to parents, record patient information, and support patient care goals and objectives. This part‑time position is based in a busy Newborn Nursery / NICU hospital setting. You will conduct newborn hearing screens, educate parents, enter patient data, validate hearing screens, confirm or reschedule outpatient appointments, follow up on equipment issues, and help train new staff. Verify insurance information with parent/guardian Document hearing screen results accurately Follow protocol for timely submission of billing Follow protocol related to security and identification of infants Follow infection control, safety awareness and other hospital, company, and program policies Recognize potential problems and obtain assistance when necessary Complete company and hospital orientation or classes, including patient privacy training Complete and maintain employee health requirements Other duties as assigned Babies First will require all employees and new hires to be vaccinated against COVID‑19, unless they qualify for an approved medical and/or religious exemption. Qualifications: Experience working with infants preferred Experience in a hospital setting preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Computer proficiency and ability to perform accurate data entry Ability to prioritize daily tasks and assignments Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required Ability to stand and walk frequently (95% of shift) Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds frequently High School Diploma or GED required EOE Statement: We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
