Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose clients' mental health conditions and develop appropriate treatment strategies. \n
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' personal goals, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are both effective and tailored to their needs. \n
- Provide quality individual therapy sessions to adults using evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, ensuring relevance to diverse client backgrounds. \n
- Utilize secure teletherapy platforms to deliver therapy sessions, fostering a therapeutic environment that maintains client confidentiality and comfort. \n
- Respond to crises and provide immediate support as needed, employing de-escalation techniques and therapeutic skills to ensure client safety. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and training sessions, ensuring your practice aligns with the latest mental health best practices. \n
Your role will primarily involve working with adult clients experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our client population is diverse, and your ability to approach therapy with compassion and cultural sensitivity will be essential in building trust and rapport.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage clients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. \n
- A compassionate, empathetic demeanor, demonstrating a non-judgmental attitude toward clients from varied backgrounds. \n
- Robust organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple clients and caseload effectively. \n
- No history of disciplinary actions on your professional license. \n

- Experience in a community health setting is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with telehealth practices. \n
- Proficiency in specific therapeutic modalities and techniques to address trauma and resilience. \n
- Previous experience working with a diverse adult population is an advantage, as well as knowledge of local resources in Long Beach. \n

- Competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $104,000, commensurate with your caseload and experience. \n
