The Sandwich Maker plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, fresh, and delicious sandwiches to customers in a fast-paced food service environment. Up to 56 hours of paid sick time at management pay rate; unused hours convert to additional paid vacation time. Affordable health and dental insurance available, with employer contributions. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a food service or sandwich preparation role. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (e.g., ServSafe certification). Experience handling cash and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently during busy periods. Customer service training or experience. Responsibilities: Prepare sandwiches and other menu items according to established recipes and customer specifications. Operate the cash register to process customer orders and payments accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in stocking ingredients and supplies to ensure availability during service hours. Provide friendly and prompt customer service, addressing customer inquiries and special requests. Skills: The required skill of cash register operation is essential for processing customer orders and payments accurately, ensuring a smooth transaction experience. Daily work involves using this skill to handle various payment methods and provide receipts, which supports efficient service flow.
