Senior MBD Engineer

Job Description Summary Senior MBD Engineer responsible for creating and implementing model‑based solutions for internal and external New Product Introduction (NPI), Low‑Rate Initial Production (LRIP), and high‑rate sites. Define parameters and work plans to meet objectives and resolve issues. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies that implement model‑based manufacturing and enterprise throughout the entire Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) lifecycle. Collaborate with external software suppliers to enable software enhancements required for success. Identify and communicate leadership about schedule pressures, and implement mitigation plans. Participate in and lead teams on specific organizational initiatives. Share engineering information and promote open dialogue. Support preparation of invention disclosures to protect technology that provides a competitive advantage. Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for projects and tasks, consistent with engineering policies and procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience. Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience. U.S. Citizen, or eligible for U.S. employment under the criteria for lawful permanent residents, asylees, or refugees. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Deep experience in metrology (7+ years). Experience with Statistical Process Control, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma tools. Modeling Experience Experience in developing and applying model‑based designs to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
