CARDIOVASCULAR SURGEON - Sacramento, California

Exciting Cardiac Surgeon Position in Sacramento

Our organization is on the lookout for a skilled cardiac surgeon to join our team in Sacramento, California, one of the premier cardiac surgery centers in Northern California. We are eager to find a motivated, talented, and collaborative individual. While 2-3+ years of prior experience is highly desirable, we welcome all qualified applicants. Candidates must be ABTS Board Certified or Board Eligible.

• Full-Time role available

• Leadership encourages applications from cardiovascular surgeons with 3 to 7 years of experience in the field

• This opening arises due to the upcoming retirement of a senior surgeon in 2026

• We are particularly interested in Board Certified/Board Eligible cardiovascular surgeons who are proficient in minimally invasive surgery (MIS), aortic surgery, and heart failure surgery (please note that we are not seeking surgeons focused on LVAD procedures at this location)

• Experience is preferred, and those completing their training in 2025/2026 are also encouraged to apply

• The surgical team in Sacramento consists of 4 cardiovascular surgeons

• On-call schedule is 1 in 4

The annual salary range for this full-time position is $582,000 to $600,000 , with additional potential incentives reaching up to $200,760 .
