Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 480V.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic diagrams.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including Allen-Bradley systems.
• Install, replace, and maintain sensors, VFDs, relays, contactors, and motor controls.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and basic machining as needed.
• Run and bend conduit for electrical installations and upgrades.
• Assist with facility maintenance projects and equipment improvements.
• Document maintenance activities and work orders accurately.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with PLCs and automated equipment.
• Ability to read ladder logic and electrical schematics.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, and conveyors.
• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and industrial controls preferred.
• Experience working with 480V systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must have own basic hand tools.

Preferred Skills

• Industrial Maintenance Degree, Applied Science Degree, or related technical certification.
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, distribution, or food production environments.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Preventative Maintenance (PM) program experience.

Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience and skill level.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danville, KY.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
