Office of the General Counsel Fall Internship (260002YE) – the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) oversees more than $2 billion in capital programs and projects, manages over 5.5 million square feet of state buildings, and handles real estate, environmental, construction, and public‑law matters. The office is offering a paid legal internship for Fall 2026. Agency Overview The DCAMM manages over 5.5 million square feet of state buildings and handles real estate, environmental, construction, and public‑law matters for the Commonwealth. Position Overview The intern will work closely with the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsels, gaining experience in legal research, writing, drafting, and exposure to construction, real‑estate, environmental, and public law. Responsibilities Conduct legal research and drafting assignments. Assist in litigation support. Perform general legal tasks as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Excellent academic credentials and strong written and verbal communication skills. Interest in administrative law, construction, real‑estate, or environmental law. Experience in land, real‑estate, environmental, or construction law. First consideration will be given to those applicants that apply within the first 14 days. Compensation & Work Details Paid position. Hourly rate $17.00–$35.00. Part‑time, day shift. Potentially hybrid work schedule. Two openings.
