Gabelli Innovations Program.This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in program operations, marketing, event management, and student engagement while working closely with one of UNR's premier entrepreneurship initiatives.ResponsibilitiesStudent Workers will help support the ongoing operations and promotion of the Gabelli Ignite program by:Coordinating the creation of marketing materials, including flyers, digital assets, and social media content with the Entrepreneurship & Innovation design teamDistributing promotional materials throughout campus, including academic departments and high-traffic student locationsStaffing information tables at outreach events, workshops, and information sessionsAssisting with planning and execution of program events, including:Room setup and logisticsSignage preparationParticipant check-inVendor and catering coordinationSupporting entrepreneurship-related campus events where Gabelli Ignite is representedCompiling participant lists and tracking program submissionsPreparing materials for review by program evaluatorsSending participant communications, reminders, and notifications using provided templatesProviding general administrative and operational support for the programRequired QualificationsBe currently enrolled as a University of Nevada, Reno studentPossess strong organizational and time-management skillsHave excellent written and verbal communication abilitiesBe comfortable interacting with students, faculty, and community membersPrevious experience in customer service, student organizations, marketing, events, or administrative support is helpful but not required.ScheduleExpected hours to work per week 10-12. Hours may increase to 15-20 hours per week during major program milestones and events.LocationThis job is based at the Innevation Center. The Innevation Center is located off-campus at 450 Sinclair St.Compensation GradeStudent Employee Level 2Exempt No Full-Time Equivalent 30.0%
