Requirements (duties include but are not limited)

• Fabricate porcelain veneers for crowns, fixed dental prostheses, implant restorations, and all-ceramic crowns using ceramo-metal techniques.
• Pour dental casts such as preliminary casts, final casts and fixed casts with die pins from all types of impression materials.
• Fabricate acrylic or cast metal splints for the reduction or fixation of maxillary and mandibular fractures, vertical dimension increasing prosthesis, and obturators.
• Fabricate appliances such as night guards, splints, stents, sleep apnea devices, and tooth position devices for orthodonic patients.
• Fabricate restorations to the esthetic, functional, and anatomic requirements of dental prescriptions.

Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed a 2 year program of study and training in dental lab techniques approved by the Commission of Dental Accreditation (CODA) and the American Dental Association (ADA) - or -High School Diploma if certified by Army, Air Force, or Navy Dental Laboratory Training Program
• Must be a Certified Dental Technician.
• Must have and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as approved by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Must be a US citizen.
