Cardiologist – Preventive Cardiology Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute Overview The Heart Vascular and Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic seeks a Preventive Cardiologist (MD) with expertise in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac patients with lipid disorders, HTN, metabolic syndrome, or chronic kidney disease. Experienced or fellowship trained in preventive cardiology is welcomed. Patients come from across the United States and worldwide for the advanced diagnosis and innovative treatments offered by the department. Our cardiologists collaborate with other cardiology specialists and cardiovascular surgeons to manage outpatient and inpatient patients with complex multisystem disease in a comprehensive and effective manner. Responsibilities Provide expertise in Preventive Cardiology within a multispecialty outpatient clinic. Attend hospital service as scheduled. Engage in research opportunities. Provide education to fellows and residents. Participate in teaching activities and departmental initiatives. Qualifications MD with specialty or fellowship in Preventive Cardiology. Experience diagnosing and treating lipid disorders, HTN, metabolic syndrome, and chronic kidney disease. Strong commitment to patient care and department growth. Position Benefits Competitive salary: $428,000 – $639,000. Faculty appointment in Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University.
