Essential Responsibilities

• Employ radiographic and CT imaging techniques to generate clear diagnostic images for physician evaluation
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate precise diagnoses
• Properly position patients and adjust equipment settings for the best imaging results
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff
• Keep meticulous records including imaging logs and the status of equipment
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout their imaging experience
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment

Educational Background

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; a Bachelor's Degree is favored
• Completion of an accredited radiology program essential

Mandatory Certifications

• ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) required
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment

Key Skills & Attributes

• Strong grasp of diagnostic imaging procedures and safety regulations
• Exceptional communication abilities with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Adept at functioning in a fast-paced healthcare setting, adjusting quickly to emerging demands
