Assist in determining the suitability of donors Establish rapport with donors to ensure customer happiness while maintaining donor confidentiality Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions Monitor donors and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment Work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment, and extreme cold in the plasma freezer Use required personal protective equipment Requirements Superior customer service standards A High School diploma or GED Ability to work a flexible schedule An interest in making a difference in the world Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable Patient and reliable Ability to keep donors comfortable and happy Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions Ability to listen to and understand spoken information Ability to perform precise coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements Ability to stand for 6 to 8 hours per day Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
