Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, including or supplemented by business courses or secretarial training Three or more years of bookkeeping experience Experience dealing with the public, Tax Collector regulations, and a college degree in a related field strongly preferred MCTA certification or the ability to gain certification Thorough knowledge of Tax Collector operations and functions Working knowledge of relevant organizations and institutions, business English, grammar, punctuation, and spelling Working knowledge of office procedures and machines Thorough knowledge and understanding of computer operations, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
