POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong professional relationships in the Bank’s Customer Service Center. Professionally, courteously, and promptly resolves customer questions and/or problems. Responsible for performing a broad variety of financial services such as opening and closing accounts, renewing time deposit accounts, and assisting customers with account inquiries, maintenance, and problem resolution. Has knowledge and experience with deposit and loan products and services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Assumes responsibility for the effective and professional performance of financial service functions. Takes customer calls. Answers questions and solves problems by listening, collecting data, and securing answers. Assists customers with Checking, Savings, Time Deposits, IRAs, Loans, Safe Deposit Boxes, Internet Banking, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards. Handles complaints professionally. Presents and explains Bank products and services and assists in meeting customers’ financial needs, including opening, closing, and maintaining various accounts. Consistently strives to meet the Customer Service Center’s call quality goals. Maintains and projects the Bank's professional reputation, adhering to policies. Other duties as assigned. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with area personnel and management. Keeps management informed of problems. Maintains a professional relationship with all associates in the Customer Service Center. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. Assists other departments as necessary. Keeps work area clean, secure, and well maintained. Maintains privacy of customer information.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

Financial service functions are efficiently, effectively, and accurately performed; good business relations with customers; complaints are promptly addressed; accurate information is provided; good working relationships; call quality standards met; professional reputation conveyed and maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate Degree or two years of related experience or equivalent. Knowledge: Preferred knowledge of Bank products, services, and policies/procedures. Experience: 1 year Customer Service experience. Skills: Excellent communication, public relations, computer, organization, ability under pressure, overtime willingness. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION Finger dexterity: typing, picking up small objects. Talking: convey detailed information accurately. Hearing: average. Visual: average acuity for inspecting documents. Physical strength: sedentary, up to 10 lbs occasionally.

WORKING CONDITIONS

No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (typical office).

MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

Reasoning ability: apply common sense and problem-solving. Mathematics ability: basic arithmetic and money operations. Language ability: use of 5,000‑6,000 word vocabulary, reading, writing, communication.

HOURS

Hours: Monday - Friday 10:00am-7:00pm. Rotating Saturdays: 9:00am-5:00pm. Availability: work flexible schedule including all call center hours, weekends, and holidays. 40 hours per week. #J-18808-Ljbffr Prosperity Bank
