Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill a Pharmacist position. This is a part-time, 20 hour/week position based out of the Saint James Health Center located in San Jose, California. Partial benefits are provided to 20 hour/week employees. The Pharmacist shall assist the Pharmacist-In-Charge in providing high quality pharmaceutical care to patients and satellite clinics throughout the Network. The Pharmacist will dispense medications, conduct patient interviews, counsel patients, maintain proper recordkeeping, monitor clinic's floor stock supply, serve as consultant to medical staff, train and supervise ancillary staff, and enforce the department's policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is very important. Candidates possessing bilingual skills in Spanish or basic Spanish speaking skills are preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Licensed in the state of California.
• One year of pharmacy experience.
• Willingness to learn some work-related Spanish.
• Interact in a courteous helpful manner with patients, clients and staff. Work effectively with a diverse population and positively in a teamwork environment.

Compensation and level of position placement will be determined based on relevant experience and education.

Pharmacist - $62.00 - $67.00/hour
