Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Edmonds, WA Location Edmonds, WA Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 3x10-hour shifts, Tuesday - Thursday, from 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM. Job Description The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in an outpatient birth and family clinic setting. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of triage, interpretation of lab results, vital signs monitoring, and patient education. Responsibilities Perform triage and assess patient needs in a family care clinic. Monitor vital signs and assess pain levels. Interpret laboratory results and provide appropriate care. Implement patient education on lifestyle and medication adherence. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for quality improvement initiatives. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have 1 year of experience in an outpatient clinic; ambulatory triage experience is preferred. Strong background in Labor and Delivery required. Active WA nursing license or Compact license. Certifications: BLS, AWHONN FHM.
