  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine the strengths and needs of each child.

  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) that cater to the unique circumstances of every child and family.

  • Monitor and evaluate progress as a team member, ensuring that interventions are effective and adjusting strategies as needed.

  • Provide guidance and emotional support to families, empowering them to enhance their child's developmental skills through evidence-based practices.

  • Foster strong relationships with children, families, and team members to create a nurturing and effective learning environment.

  • Deliver services aligned with compliance requirements set forth by Federal and State regulations, maintaining the highest standards of practice.

  • Utilize natural learning environment practices to facilitate child development effectively.
  • \n
  • Implement the IFSP in a manner that respects family priorities and concerns regarding their child’s growth.

  • Adapt strategies to meet diverse learning styles, ensuring each child's needs are met within their individualized treatment plans.

  • Assist families in acquiring knowledge and skills that will aid their child's development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be children under three years old who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring that these children receive the early intervention services they require to develop critical skill sets in areas such as communication, social/emotional development, and cognitive abilities. You will work closely with families, serving as a trusted resource and advocate for their children.

  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

  • Active clinical licensure and certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt approaches to meet the diverse learning styles of children.
