Although we started out of necessity, we have grown into a full-service, one-stop shop, for businesses around the country.We are seeking a hands-on, hard-working, detail-oriented professional to join our team. The Bindery Operator I ensures accuracy and quality of products produced out of the Stitcher/Trimmer and Inserter areas.Job Description/ResponsibilitiesSet up and calibrate the Stitcher/Trimmer and InserterNavigate Stitcher software to make any needed adjustments before and during a runCycle the Inserter machine to sync the pockets and feeder sensorsFind and move job files to the correct folder on the InserterSet up and calibrate the stacker to ensure neat, square and uniform bundlesInspect and replace belts and strappingUtilize Videojet software to import files and change job parameters as necessaryOperate Kyocera, Kodak, and Taba printersLoad and change label rolls on the InserterMaintain knowledge of machine coding, error messages, reporting, and machine troubleshootingPerform Daily, Weekly and Monthly maintenance on the Stitcher/Trimmer and InserterTeam Member ExpectationsPositive attitude and a strong work ethicHold to our core values: Faith, Passion, Quality, Innovation, and IntegrityThe genuine desire to achieve your very best and improve every dayThe initiative to identify opportunities for organizational improvement and the drive to take action and ownership in helping the organization succeed both by contributing individually and working together as a teamIn addition to general team member expectations, this role specifically requires the following:QualificationsMinimum requirements:2 or more years of experience with offset printingExcellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsAvailable during 2nd Shift hours of 3:30 PM to 12 AM, Monday to FridayAbility to work occasional weekends or variable shifts based on business needsPreferred qualifications:Mechanical and machinist skillsExtensive knowledge of paper characteristics and its effect on production and qualityCompensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive and attractive package of compensation and benefits including health insurance, 401(k) plan, paid vacation, sick pay, and paid holidays.
