Head of Data and Analytics

Seeking a full-time Head of Data and Analytics, this remote role will manage data modeling, architecture, and engineering efforts while serving as a key liaison between business strategy and data operations, ultimately enhancing data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key responsibilities Conduct structured discovery interviews with executives to identify key business questions and translate them into a prioritized data roadmap Audit and redesign the existing data model to improve data quality and analytics capabilities, ensuring alignment with organizational needs Build and maintain executive dashboards and reporting tools to enable leadership to monitor KPIs and derive insights efficiently Required qualifications 10-15+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data science roles, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity Proven experience operating as a founding data team member, managing the full data stack from raw data to executive dashboards Deep hands-on proficiency with dbt and modern cloud-based data warehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience in writing and debugging complex transformation logic Demonstrated ability to translate non-technical stakeholder needs into actionable technical roadmaps
