Registered Nurse Nursing

Schedule: Days and Nights

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 per week

Requirements:

• Must be licensed in good standing in the state as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of a nursing education program from an NLN approved institution.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
• Conduct initial assessments and re-assessments every 24 hours for all patients, including pediatrics and adults.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interpret diagnostic tests while providing education to patients and their families.

Compliance / Notes:

• All travelers are required to show proof of completed COVID vaccinations.
• The guaranteed hours for the first week of orientation will not be 40 hours, as orientation starts on a Tuesday.
