Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1800 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - General Med/Tele skillset: stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc.), PCA pumps. - Medication gtt management to include cardiac drips, heparin, blood products, IVF.

Special Requests: - Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays; must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours.

Unit Details: - Emergency observation setting caring for chest pain, syncope, and angina patients. - Uses Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Travelers will work 75% of holidays. - No call. - Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks.

Floating Requirements: - Travel nurses will be first to float to other nursing units based on patient care needs and staffing demands and will take patients within scope of practice on any unit (e.g. Med-Surg assignment in ICU, Med-Surg holds in ED). - Required to float per region needs to Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, and Central Division (CMC Main, Mercy, LCH peds only) as needed, within scope of practice.

6 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
