Strategic Partnerships Lead for Database Services

About the Role Join us in a pivotal role where you will spearhead Oracle's partnership program with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Systems Integrators (SIs) for our Oracle Database Cloud Services. We seek an innovative and results-oriented professional who is eager to define and implement a global partner-led growth strategy aimed at driving cloud adoption, expanding our market presence, and maximizing the impact delivered through our ecosystem partners. This is an influential individual contributor position where your strategic insights, relationship management, and execution abilities will be key to achieving measurable outcomes. What You'll Do Define and lead the global ISV and SI partnership strategy for Oracle Database, ensuring alignment with business unit growth priorities. Identify, recruit, and foster high-value strategic partnerships that enhance the adoption of Oracle's cloud offerings, including Autonomous AI Database and Oracle Exadata Cloud. Manage key relationships with Tier 1 and emerging partners, collaborating on business objectives, investments, and joint go-to-market strategies. Negotiate partnership agreements, co-selling arrangements, and collaborative development initiatives. Work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Alliances & Channels, and Legal teams to advance partner goals effectively. Develop joint go-to-market programs that include solution bundling, technical enablement, and co-marketing efforts. Conduct competitive analysis of cloud database ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) to uncover partnership opportunities and industry trends. Represent Oracle at industry events, partner conferences, and briefings, showcasing our innovation and collaboration. What You'll Bring Over 15 years of experience in business development, strategic alliances, or partner management in the realms of enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, or data platforms. A minimum of 5 years of experience managing ISV and/or SI partner relationships at a senior level. Proven track record of structuring and closing complex, high-value partnerships that drive revenue and pipeline growth. In-depth knowledge of the cloud database, analytics, and data infrastructure ecosystem, including ISV software categories and SI capabilities. Exceptional communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across various levels, functions, and regions. Adept at driving strategy and executing initiatives simultaneously. Preferred: Familiarity with Oracle technologies and established relationships with global SIs or adjacent ISVs.
