Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Aspirus.

Required Skills/Experience:

• On Call/Call Back Requirements: Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours - can be low censused in hour increments as needed. Unit will typically low census in 4 hour increments and could ask for a traveler to work only 4 or 8 hrs of the shift. This is not considered to be on call.
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Preferred Skills/Experience: 3 years of experience.

Required Credentials: Associate’s Degree or Certificate

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree

Unit/Facility Details: Medical and Pediatrics (Medical and Pediatrics – travelers do not take Peds patients).

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
