Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

SCHEDULE
4x10 hour shifts; 40 hours per week; Weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS
- New York State Registered Nurse License
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- ACLS Certification (AHA)
- Telemetry experience
- 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures.
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide post-procedure recovery care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the critical embolization response team for trauma patients.
- Demonstrate strong communication and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Must wear hospital-issued and laundered scrub pants and tops, along with other infection prevention measures when required in procedural areas.
