Who You Are

You are a strategic finance leader with at least 8 years of experience in accounting, financial planning, financial modeling, budgeting, and operational finance, ideally within capital‑intensive or infrastructure‑related industries. You have successfully managed and developed high‑performing finance teams and are comfortable aligning financial operations with fast‑evolving business goals.

Your deep understanding of core financial functions—GAAP accounting, planning, budgeting, compliance, treasury, and reporting—makes you a trusted advisor and operator. You are motivated by building scalable processes, collaborating across functions, and supporting growth with sound financial stewardship.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the finance function within Galaxy’s Data Center business, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
• Ensure rigorous application of GAAP accounting standards and partner with accounting on monthly closes and asset tracking.
• Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls relevant to the Data Center division.
• Coordinate closely with Galaxy’s central finance, treasury, risk, and operations functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, capital markets, corporate development, and procurement to align financial plans with operational initiatives.
• Lead treasury planning and cash flow management for the data center business.
• Provide insight into financial performance and risks; recommend corrective actions and optimization opportunities.
• Build and mentor a high‑impact finance team while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of experience in a finance organization with increasing responsibility.
• Deep knowledge of financial planning, GAAP accounting, budgeting, compliance, treasury, and operations.
• Demonstrated management experience, with a strong record of leading and developing teams.
• Proven ability to align finance with strategic business priorities, especially in capital‑intensive or infrastructure‑related sectors.
• Exceptional Excel and modeling skills; experience with ERP and financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or Hyperion is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise, and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.

Base Salary Range $225,000—$250,000 USD
