Job Description

The assistant underwriter supports the underwriting department by entering data into rating systems, preparing and reviewing accounts, processing endorsements, and assisting with policy renewals.

Responsibilities:

• Input account details into rating software accurately and efficiently
• Serve as liaison with agents to obtain signatures, documents, and clarification
• Prepare policy documents and assist in account setup

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required 
• 1+ years of experience in related administrative or insurance support role
• Excellent math skills

The pay is $22.00 an hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
