Speech Language Pathologist Part-time or PRN
Job Summary:
Pinewood Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team on a part-time or PRN basis. As a PRN therapist, you will have the flexibility to choose your schedule while making a difference in the lives of seniors by helping them regain their communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities. Our supportive skilled nursing environment is the perfect place to grow your career and contribute to the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians
• Document evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy techniques and strategies
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Georgia state SLP license (or eligibility)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFY considered
• Prior SNF or geriatric experience is a plus
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
